CARE AND PREPARATION – COCCULUS GREENERY
DIY Bulk Flower Guide

Cocculus greenery is a soft, trailing foliage that requires standard preparation and adds natural movement to floral designs. Please follow these steps carefully upon receiving your stems:

  1. Unpack immediately. Remove the stems from the box as soon as they arrive.
  2. Remove outer packaging. Take off all outer packaging and protective sleeves.
  3. Remove lower leaves if needed. Strip off any foliage that would sit below the water line to keep the water clean and reduce bacteria.
  4. Prepare clean water. Fill a clean bucket or vase with fresh water. Add floral food and stir until fully dissolved.
  5. Trim the stems. Cut approximately 1–2 inches off the stems at an angle using sharp floral shears or a sharp knife.
  6. Hydrate properly. Place stems immediately into water and keep them in a cool area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  7. Handle gently. Cocculus has soft, trailing stems that should be handled carefully to maintain their natural shape and flow.
  8. Versatile greenery. Ideal for adding movement and a cascading effect in bouquets, centerpieces, and installations.
  9. Daily care. Change the water regularly and re-cut stems as needed to maintain freshness.
